Job Overview
Sanlam Group is looking for a Regional Marketing Consultant to join its team in Bloemfontein. The role forms part of SanlamConnect’s Succession Financial Planning (SFP) business and focuses on implementing national distribution marketing strategies at a regional level.
The successful candidate will support regional business growth through marketing campaigns, market research, sponsorships, events, worksite marketing and stakeholder engagement. The position is suited to an experienced marketing professional with knowledge of the financial services and distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and support national marketing campaigns.
- Assist with customised regional marketing plans and strategies.
- Provide focused marketing support to drive regional business growth.
- Support conferences, sponsorships and corporate social investment initiatives.
- Provide marketing support for worksites and key accounts.
- Execute campaigns for smaller regional worksites and key accounts.
- Conduct ongoing market and competitor research.
- Network and prospect to identify new business opportunities.
- Gather and communicate feedback on marketing projects and campaigns.
- Track and report on return on investment (ROI).
- Provide marketing materials and branding support for national events.
- Assist with regional marketing activities and initiatives.
- Manage marketing budgets and expenses under the oversight of the Head: Go-2-Market.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve marketing objectives.
Minimum Requirements
Qualification:
- Degree in Marketing, Commerce or Business.
Experience:
- Experience in a financial distribution business in a sales and/or marketing role.
Technical & Business Knowledge
The successful candidate should have knowledge of:
- Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
