Tender Description
The National Museum in Bloemfontein invites suitably qualified and experienced service providers to submit quotations for the provision of Home Affairs ID Verification Services.
The appointed service provider will assist the National Museum with verifying and authenticating South African identity documents to ensure that identity information is accurate, valid and legitimate.
The service provider must be capable of delivering secure, reliable and efficient verification services while maintaining confidentiality and complying with applicable data protection legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Responsibilities / Scope of Work
The appointed service provider may be responsible for the following, subject to the detailed RFQ specifications:
Conducting identity verification checks for the National Museum.
Verifying the authenticity and validity of South African identity documents.
Checking identity information against authorised Home Affairs databases or accredited verification platforms.
Identifying potentially fraudulent, altered or invalid identity documents.
Ensuring accurate and reliable processing of identity verification requests.
Providing verification results and reports to the National Museum.
Maintaining proper records and audit trails of verification activities.
Protecting confidential personal information during the verification process.
Ensuring secure storage, transmission and handling of verification data.
Reporting any discrepancies or suspicious identity information identified during verification.
Providing efficient and professional verification services in accordance with agreed service standards.
