Responsibilities
Design and redesign curricula in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
Develop new learning programmes in alignment with industry and professional needs.
Manage operational plans, programme coherence, and financial resources.
Provide leadership to staff and promote transformation initiatives.
Ensure compliance with UFS governance, policy, and regulatory frameworks.
Oversee academic quality and manage curriculation processes.
Conduct research and provide high-level academic and registration advice.
Market programmes through faculty committees, road shows, open days, and professional engagement.
Develop marketing materials and annual marketing plans.
Qualifications (Inherent Requirements)
PhD (NQF Level 10) in Linguistics, Language Practice, or a closely related field.
Full-time, permanent member of the academic staff in the Department of Linguistics and Language Practice at UFS.
