Job Title: Post Basic Qualified Pharmacist Assistant

Responsibilities:

Assist with the sale and handling of Schedule 1 to Schedule 6 medicines
-
Prepare, compound, re-package, and label medication
-
Interpret prescriptions and assist in the supply of medication
-
Capture and verify prescription details in the system
-
Advise patients on the proper use of medicines
-
Process medical aid claims and correct script rejections
-
Order, receive, and manage stock in accordance with SOPs
-
Maintain customer profiles and assist with stock takes
-
Ensure all medication is verified by a pharmacist
Qualifications:
-
Grade 12 / Matric
-
Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification
-
Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
-
Experience with Unisolv and MS Office
-
Proficient in English and a second language
-
Willing to work retail hours
-
Advantageous: SAP, E-Scripting knowledge, experience in Retail/FMCG, drug and complementary medicine knowledge
