Responsibilities:
Transport and escort patients safely to designated departments
Assist in emergency evacuations
Perform driver duties as per hospital needs and guidelines
Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient rights and Mediclinic values
Qualifications:
Essential Education: Grade 10
Desired Education: None
Essential Experience: Experience in client services or working with the public
Desired Experience: Previous healthcare or care work experience
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Valid driver’s license with PDP
Knowledge of kinetic handling principles and medico-legal risks
Familiarity with two-way radio systems
English literacy (read, write, and speak)
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Understanding of Health and Safety Act regulations and emergency evacuation protocols
Knowledge of patient rights and administrative procedures
