Job Description
The Operational Manager Nursing will be responsible for managing and coordinating specialised nursing services at Katleho District Hospital. The position focuses on ensuring high-quality, holistic patient care, effective management of nursing staff and resources, compliance with professional standards and legislation, and participation in training and research.
Minimum Requirements
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
- Basic R425 nursing qualification or equivalent qualification allowing registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
- Alternatively, a 4-year Bachelor Degree in Nursing (R174) or 3-year Diploma in General Nursing (R171).
- Post-basic nursing qualification of at least 1 year in Intensive Nursing Science, accredited by SANC.
- Current SANC registration for 2026/2027.
- At least 9 years’ appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration as a Professional Nurse.
- At least 5 years’ appropriate/recognisable experience in Intensive Nursing Science after obtaining the post-basic specialty qualification.
- Computer literacy.
