    Job Purpose

    To optimize sales and exceed customer expectations through effective implementation of the store’s operations strategy and strong management of the store team.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Brand custodian: Represent and protect the Ackermans brand.

    • Energetic self-starter with strong leadership drive.

    • Minimum 2 years retail experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.

    • Strong merchandise management skills.

    • Excellent stock and cost control capabilities.

    • Ability to maintain high store standards.

    • Proven ability to influence and lead a team.

    • Strong development orientation to grow self and team members.

    • English communication (written and verbal) is required; a second official language is advantageous.

    • Grade 12 / Matric (or equivalent).

    • Further retail or business qualifications will be an advantage.
