Job Description
This is a senior-level role requiring extensive experience in civil construction. You will manage daily site operations, supervise teams, plan work schedules, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
You will also be involved in basic surveying, excavation oversight, and project coordination, ensuring all construction activities meet required specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision
- Oversee daily construction activities on-site
- Supervise workers and subcontractors
- Ensure work is completed according to plans and timelines
Planning & Coordination
- Plan and manage work schedules
- Coordinate tasks across teams
- Ensure efficient use of resources
Construction Activities
- Oversee excavation work
- Monitor progress on civil construction tasks
- Ensure correct construction methods are followed
Surveying & Measurements
- Perform basic surveying tasks
- Check site levels and measurements
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor site safety practices
- Address risks and hazards immediately

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- NQF Level 4 National Certificate (Construction or related field)
Experience
- 10–12 years’ experience in civil construction supervision
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of:
