     Job Purpose

    The Sales Representative – Used Vehicles is responsible for selling pre-owned vehicles by identifying customer needs, demonstrating vehicles, negotiating sales, and building long-term relationships with customers. The role focuses on achieving sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.

     Key Responsibilities

    Sales and Lead Generation

    • Generate new customer leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.

    • Identify potential buyers and build relationships with customers.

    • Follow up on leads and enquiries about used vehicles.

    Customer Assistance

    • Understand customer needs, preferences, and budgets.

    • Assist customers in selecting the most suitable vehicle.

    • Provide professional advice on vehicle features and benefits.

    Vehicle Demonstrations

    • Conduct vehicle walkarounds and test drives.

    • Explain specifications, performance, and condition of vehicles.

    • Highlight advantages and value of each used vehicle.

    Sales Negotiation and Closing

    • Negotiate pricing and financing options with customers.

    • Close sales deals and meet monthly sales targets.

    • Ensure all sales documentation is completed correctly.

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Maintain customer records in the CRM system.

     Minimum Requirements

    • Matric Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.

    • 2–3 years experience in automotive sales.

    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    • Strong knowledge of vehicle sales and customer service.
