Job Purpose
The Sales Representative – Used Vehicles is responsible for selling pre-owned vehicles by identifying customer needs, demonstrating vehicles, negotiating sales, and building long-term relationships with customers. The role focuses on achieving sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Lead Generation

Generate new customer leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.

Identify potential buyers and build relationships with customers.

Follow up on leads and enquiries about used vehicles.
Customer Assistance

Understand customer needs, preferences, and budgets.

Assist customers in selecting the most suitable vehicle.

Provide professional advice on vehicle features and benefits.
Vehicle Demonstrations

Conduct vehicle walkarounds and test drives.

Explain specifications, performance, and condition of vehicles.

Highlight advantages and value of each used vehicle.
Sales Negotiation and Closing

Minimum Requirements

Matric Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.

2–3 years experience in automotive sales.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Strong knowledge of vehicle sales and customer service.
