Job Purpose
The Sales Representative – New Vehicles is responsible for selling new vehicles by assisting customers through the entire buying process. This includes explaining vehicle features, conducting test drives, negotiating prices, and ensuring customers have a positive buying experience while achieving dealership sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement
Serve as the primary contact for customers interested in purchasing new vehicles.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle models.
Provide excellent customer service and build long-term relationships.
Product Knowledge and Demonstrations
Explain the features, specifications, and benefits of new vehicles.
Conduct vehicle walkarounds and test drives for customers.
Keep updated on the latest vehicle models and automotive trends.
Sales Negotiation and Closing
Negotiate vehicle prices and sales terms with customers.
Close deals and achieve monthly or quarterly sales targets.
Assist customers with the purchasing process and necessary documentation.
Customer Follow-Up
Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction.
Encourage repeat business and referrals.
Team Collaboration
Work with the sales team to achieve dealership sales goals.
Attend sales meetings and training sessions.
Share market insights and customer feedback with management.
Minimum Requirements
Previous sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry
Valid driver’s license
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Knowledge or interest in automotive products and new vehicle models
