    Job Overview:

    The Regional Human Resources Manager will strategically partner with business leaders to plan, direct, and coordinate all HR activities in alignment with the company’s overall strategy. The role focuses on ensuring that HR practices reflect the company’s vision, values, and culture, while driving employee engagement, compliance, and development across the region.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Align all HR operations and activities with the company’s vision, mission, and values.

    • Implement and maintain HR programs, strategies, policies, and procedures in line with group requirements.

    • Serve as custodian of HR governance, compliance, and audit processes.

    • Chair disciplinary and grievance hearings, issue warnings, and manage industrial relations (IR) matters.

    • Oversee internal induction processes for all new employees.

    • Ensure recruitment and IR packs are 100% compliant with audit procedures.

    • Ensure Health & Safety compliance within all HR operations.

    • Capture and maintain accurate employee information on SAGE People 300.

    • Monitor, evaluate, and advise on changes in labour legislation and ensure company policies remain compliant.

    • Establish and maintain constructive relationships with unions and employee representatives.

    • Drive employee engagement and promote open communication channels between management and staff.

    • Manage Employment Equity (EE) committees and planning processes.

    • Represent the company in CCMA/NBC matters.

    • Provide HR guidance and support to managers on labour and performance-related matters.

    • Ensure all performance reviews are conducted within set deadlines.

    • Prepare, review, and submit accurate HR reports timeously.

    • Use HR data and analytics to identify trends, determine priorities, and drive HR decision-making.

    • Model the company’s Code of Conduct consistently and hold HR staff accountable to the same standard.

    • Maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and meet all deadlines through effective time management and communication.

    • Ensure prompt response to all HR-related queries within a 24-hour turnaround time.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Education: BCom in Human Resources Management or a related HR degree.

    • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in a management-level HR role.

    • Systems Knowledge: Working knowledge of SAGE People 300.

    • Skills & Competencies:

      • Sound understanding of South African Labour Law and HR legislation.

      • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

      • Strong administrative, organizational, and coordination abilities.

      • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

      • Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).

      • Effective time management and ability to perform under pressure.

      • Proven leadership, delegation, and personnel management skills.

      • Ability to work independently and proactively.
