Job Overview
The Branch Marketer (Animal Health) is responsible for promoting and selling agricultural and animal health products while maintaining strong customer relationships. The role focuses on sales growth, stock control, and expert advice on animal medicine and additives within the retail branch environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Marketing
- Sell agricultural and animal health products according to targets
- Market products to walk-in and existing customers
- Build and maintain a strong customer base
- Promote product awareness and drive sales growth
Animal Health Advisory
- Advise customers on animal health products and additives
- Provide best practice recommendations for livestock care
- Support farmers with product knowledge and solutions
Stock Management
- Ensure stock availability and proper stock rotation
- Place stock orders based on seasonal demand and system data
- Monitor stock levels, margins, and sales performance
Customer Service
- Provide high-quality service in-store, telephonically, and via email
- Handle customer queries professionally
- Build long-term customer relationships
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in animal health products
- Proven knowledge of:
- Animal medicine
- Animal health products and additives
- Agricultural experience (advantageous)
