Purpose of the Role
To develop and implement tactical strategies and delivery plans for commercial credit origination while ensuring adherence to credit risk management methodologies, governance standards, and operational objectives. The role focuses on risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, and building a high-performing team to deliver commercial credit solutions effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Risk Management

Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) across relevant risk types.

Identify, assess, and report key risks arising from significant events, investigations, audits, and control issues.

Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
2. Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Act as a trusted advisor on credit origination and risk-related matters.
3. People Management

Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing team.

Promote a culture of accountability, excellence, and compliance within the team.
4. Risk Reporting & Control

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of credit risks.

Maintain robust risk and control measures in line with governance frameworks.
Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies (Required).
