About the Role
ooba is looking for a dynamic, results-driven Home Loan Sales Consultant to join their team in the Free State. The role focuses on business development, relationship management, and sales performance within the home loans and real estate sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with key players in the property industry — including real estate agents, attorneys, and developers — while driving lead generation and achieving consistent sales growth.
Key Performance Areas
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Drive lead growth within existing agency partner networks and establish new partner channels.
Represent ooba at regional meetings, conferences, and industry events to increase visibility.
Deliver product and service presentations to potential partners and clients.
Attend agency meetings to train and upskill agents on new products and services.
Support and promote new product initiatives to grow market share.
Ensure continuous relationship management and client retention through effective engagement.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Matric (Grade 12) – essential
5+ years’ experience in business development or sales – essential
Previous experience in banking (home loans) and/or real estate – essential
Established network and relationships with real estate agents, attorneys, portal managers, etc.
Proven track record of high-performance sales in a multi-product environment.
Skills & Knowledge
Advanced sales and business development expertise.
Strong market analysis, business planning, and opportunity management skills.
Excellent relationship management and networking abilities.
Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written).
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
