Job Overview
Life Rosepark Hospital is seeking Enrolled Nurses to support the effective functioning of hospital wards and to deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care. The role involves performing essential nursing duties in line with SANC regulations, relevant healthcare legislation, and Life Healthcare policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, contribute to patient education and in-service training, and maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and cost efficiency in a private hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Duties
Perform basic nursing duties to ensure quality patient care
Deliver nursing care in compliance with SANC regulations, legislation, and Life Healthcare policies
Participate in patient education and ongoing in-service training initiatives
Maintain excellent patient and customer care standards
Ward Support & Supervision
Contribute to the smooth functioning of the ward
Supervise subordinates and provide guidance when required
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Participate in Health, Safety, Environment, Infection Control, and Quality programmes
Ensure compliance with hospital quality standards and protocols
Promote patient safety and infection prevention practices
Stock & Cost Control
Ensure cost-efficient use of stock and ward resources
Assist with monitoring and managing ward supplies and equipment
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Qualification as an Enrolled Nurse
Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
Advantageous
Experience working in a private hospital environment (not essential)
