Job Overview:
Old Khaki, a division of Cape Union Mart International, is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Assistant Leader to join the team at Northridge Mall in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will support the Store Leader in managing all aspects of store operations, driving sales performance, optimizing profitability, and ensuring an exceptional in-store customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations & Performance

Assist in managing all operational aspects of the store to achieve sales and profitability targets.

Maximize turnover through effective stock control, merchandising, and sales strategies.

Monitor and minimize shrinkage by proactively managing stock-related risks.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Customer Experience & Service Excellence

Deliver exceptional customer service by implementing and maintaining the Customer Experience Strategy.

Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally.

Foster a welcoming and engaging store environment to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Team Leadership & Development

Assist with talent selection, onboarding, coaching, and retention of team members.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of retail management experience (preferably in fashion or lifestyle retail).

Skills:

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
