Job Description
This is a mid-level role focused on monitoring and enforcing compliance across HR processes and client sites. You will work closely with HR, payroll, and operations to ensure all employees and processes meet South African labour laws and company standards.
You’ll also conduct audits, manage employee records, and ensure proper documentation and reporting throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Monitoring
- Ensure compliance with:
- Client SLAs
- Company policies
- Statutory/legal requirements
- Monitor compliance across multiple sites
Employee Compliance (TES Focus)
- Ensure employees are compliant before placement
- Monitor compliance throughout employment
- Verify documents (IDs, licenses, visas, etc.)
Audits & Reporting
- Conduct HR and compliance audits
- Maintain non-compliance logs
- Issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)
- Follow up on corrective actions
Documentation & Systems
- Ensure accurate employee documentation
- Maintain records in line with POPIA
- Manage HR systems and uploads (VIP or similar)
Tracking & Administration
- Track renewals (medical, licenses, inductions, visas)
- Generate weekly/monthly compliance reports
- Process terminations and employee changes
Support & Projects
- Support HR, payroll, and operations teams
- Assist with:
- Employment Equity reporting
- Skills Development reporting
- Participate in compliance improvement projects
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in:
- HR
- Labour Relations
- Compliance
- Or related field
Experience
- 2–4 years’ experience in:
- HR administration
- Compliance
- Labour-related roles
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of:
- South African labour laws
- HR compliance processes
- Experience with audits and reporting
Technical Skills
- HR systems (VIP advantageous)
- Computer literacy (Excel, admin systems)
