Job Description
This role involves working in a warehouse environment where you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing goods. You will assist with stock movement, ensure accurate order preparation, and maintain a clean and safe workspace.
The job requires physical effort, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Offloading
- Offload goods from delivery trucks
- Inspect items for damage or discrepancies
- Sort and place goods in correct storage areas
Picking & Packing
- Pick stock according to order lists
- Pack goods securely for dispatch
- Label packages correctly
Stock Control
- Assist with stock counts and inventory checks
- Report damaged goods or low stock
- Help maintain accurate stock records
Warehouse Maintenance
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Follow safety and housekeeping procedures
- Dispose of waste properly
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
Experience
- 2–3 years’ experience in a warehouse or similar role
Other Requirements
- Clean criminal record
- Good communication skills
