    Eligibility Criteria

    To be considered for the Nedbank External Bursary Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

    • Must be a South African citizen

    • Demonstrate financial need as determined by household income

    • Be enrolled (or planning to enroll) full-time at a South African public university or university of technology

    • Have obtained admission approval to the institution for the relevant qualification

    • Must have achieved a minimum academic average of 65% in the year of application

    • Must have scored a minimum of 65% in key subjects aligned to the qualification of choice

    • Applicants must not have completed Grade 12 or senior certificate with Mathematics Literacy

    Application Process

    • Incomplete applications will be automatically rejected.

    • Applications will be screened and shortlisted according to the eligibility criteria.

    • If shortlisted, candidates will be required to:

      • Submit relevant financial documentation

      • Undergo psychometric testing

      • Participate in an interview
