Responsibilities:

Assist Millwrights in maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical machinery

Prepare tools, parts, and materials for breakdown repairs
-
Support in executing basic mechanical and electrical work under supervision

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop
-
Learn and follow technical drawings and safety protocols
-
Take accurate measurements and keep records
-
Assist with planned preventative maintenance
-
Support reliability improvements and plant modifications
-
Assist with fault finding in electrical systems, including cables and conductors
Qualifications:
-
Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
-
Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and concepts
-
Physically fit and able to stand/work for extended periods
-
Willing to work shifts, overtime, and be on standby
-
Safety-conscious and dependable
-
Eagerness to learn and grow technical skills
-
Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team or independently
