Job Description
The Central University of Technology is looking for two Lecturers: Public Management to join the Department of Government Management at the Welkom Campus. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching, student evaluation, research, administration and community engagement across various areas of Public Management and Public Administration.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop academic material and lecture assigned subjects.
- Facilitate teaching, learning and assessment activities.
- Conduct student evaluations and provide academic support.
- Conduct research and contribute to scholarly activities.
- Perform academic administration duties.
- Assist with academic control and organisation.
- Participate in community service and engagement projects.
- Contribute to relevant departmental and faculty activities.

Minimum Requirements
- A relevant Master’s-level qualification (NQF Level 9), such as an MA, M.Tech, MSc or equivalent, in:

- At least 2 years’ teaching, lecturing or industry experience relevant to the subject field.
Recommended Requirements
- Evidence of progress towards a Doctorate in Public Management, Public Administration or a related field.
- Any recognised publication, research, innovation or creative output.
Salary
- R816,162 per annum (Total Cost to Company).
