Job Description
PEP is looking for a Store Manager to lead the PEP Home Heilbron store and drive sales, customer service, operational efficiency and overall store performance. The successful candidate will manage a team, control costs and stock losses, ensure effective administration and maintain high store standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales through excellent customer service and world-class store standards.
- Maintain the store image and ensure effective stock management.
- Implement promotions and merchandising initiatives.
- Minimise stock losses through effective security, stock and cash-handling procedures.
- Manage store costs and improve operational efficiencies.
- Ensure all administrative duties are completed according to company guidelines.
- Lead, train, coach and manage the store team.
- Monitor employee performance and support team development.
- Maintain health, safety, housekeeping and general store standards.
- Ensure the store operates effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12.
- Proficiency in English.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business or retail would be an advantage.
- Ideally 1–2 years’ retail experience in a leadership role.
- Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft or Google GSuite, will be an advantage.
