    Job Purpose

    As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and education to students in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Your role will include providing academic support through consultations, conducting research and development in your discipline, and supporting the academic department overall.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver lectures in both physical and online classrooms

    • Schedule and conduct consultations with students

    • Analyze student results at the module level

    • Mark assessments and provide constructive feedback

    • Identify and support at-risk students with targeted interventions

    • Contribute to academic research and curriculum development

    Minimum Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (required)

    • Honours Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (preferred)

    Experience

    • 1 to 3 years relevant industry experience

    • 1 to 3 years lecturing experience

    • Solid knowledge of South African Further and Higher Education systems and regulations

    • Experience with teaching-learning theory, assessment processes, and interventions

    Key Competencies

    Academic

    • Deep understanding of the SA higher education regulatory framework

    • Familiarity with teaching-learning methodologies and student support

    • Comfortable using digital academic platforms

    • Adaptability in a dynamic academic environment

    Operational

    • Strong time management and organizational skills

    • Customer service focus and teamwork skills

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Working Hours

     Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (dependent on module allocation)
