Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to deliver academic content, support student learning and development, and engage in research within the Accounting discipline. The successful candidate will support students’ academic journey through classroom instruction, feedback, and academic consultation.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lectures (in-person and online where required)

Conduct student consultations and provide academic support

Analyze results at the module level and identify at-risk students

Mark assessments and provide constructive feedback

Apply teaching-learning theory and assessment strategies

Contribute to curriculum development and academic excellence
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
-
Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (required)
-
Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Accounting (preferred)
Experience
-
1–3 years of lecturing or academic experience
-
1–3 years of relevant industry experience in Accounting
-
Familiarity with South African Further and Higher Education frameworks
-
Understanding of teaching methodologies, digital platforms, and student support services
