Eduvos Academic seeks an experienced Law Lecturer to join its Bloemfontein campus on a part-time, independent contractor basis. The role involves lecturing various law-related modules, supporting departmental administration, and contributing to academic and quality assurance processes. The position offers flexible working hours and is ideal for professionals with expertise in law and higher education.
The Law Lecturer will prepare and deliver course materials, manage assessments, provide academic support to students, and ensure compliance with higher education standards. The role requires strong knowledge of law, research capabilities, and experience in teaching within a tertiary education environment.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver lectures and facilitate learning for the following modules:

Media Law

International Human Rights Law
-
Family Law
-
Insolvency Law
-
Constitutional Law

Prepare lecture notes, study materials, and assessments.

Set, administer, and mark assessments.

Assist with departmental administration and academic activities as required.

Support Quality Assurance processes and compliance.

Identify and provide support for at-risk students.

Engage in relevant academic research.
Minimum Requirements
-
LLM (Master’s degree in Law).

1–2 years of relevant lecturing experience in higher education.

Knowledge of higher education practices, policies, and processes.

Research experience relevant to the modules taught.
