Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor – Bethlehem

Responsibilities:

Oversee smooth kitchen production operations and ensure menu consistency.

Monitor inventory and communicate needs to the Catering Manager.

Maintain portion control, proper preparation, and storage methods to reduce waste and manage costs.

Assist with basic food preparation according to menu cycle requirements.

Complete and maintain all necessary documentation, including wastage sheets, cleaning records, and stock reports.

Conduct regular stock takes and maintain temperature records.

Analyse and manage all in-unit costs effectively.

Support, train, coach, and develop team members.

Deliver excellent service while ensuring compliance with food safety standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
-
Matric (essential).

Tertiary qualification in Food & Beverage Services or Culinary Arts (compulsory).

Minimum 2 years’ progressive kitchen management experience (compulsory).

Computer literacy and WorkSmart knowledge (essential).
-
Experience in stock control, ordering, and receiving.
-
Knowledge of South African catering regulations and industry laws.
