Responsibilities:

Place orders and liaise with suppliers upon approval from the Project/Assistant Catering Manager.

Ensure prices and quantities match order sheets and invoices.

Issue stock/groceries to all departments and weigh food products for production.

Manage stock ratios in line with budgets and stock level requirements.

Conduct weekly and monthly stocktakes.
-
Complete HSE records accurately and on time.

Supervise and maintain cleanliness in storerooms, fridges, and freezers.

Check quality and labeling of all incoming goods.

Receive, inspect, and store deliveries appropriately.

Implement strict stock control measures.

Work closely with the catering management team.
Qualifications:
-
Matric (essential); logistics qualification advantageous.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a logistics environment.

Experience in hospitality preferred (training provided if not).
-
Supervisory and systems experience advantageous.

Valid driver’s license.
-
Strong computer literacy, numerical ability, and organizational skills.
