Eduvos is seeking to appoint a qualified and motivated IT Lecturer to join our Bloemfontein campus on an independent contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong programming and web development knowledge, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to academic excellence.

Purpose of the Role:

To deliver high-quality lectures for Information Technology-related modules.
As a Lecturer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of aspiring professionals.

To contribute to administrative and departmental duties as required.

To support the academic success of students through innovative and effective teaching and learning practices.
The Lecturer will also be instrumental in developing innovative courses.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Having a strong background in the field will greatly benefit your teaching methodology.

BSc Honours Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
Experience:
Experience in the field is essential for delivering quality education.

1–2 years of lecturing or teaching experience at a tertiary institution.

Knowledge of higher education policies and practices.

Demonstrated research engagement will be an added advantage.
Modules to be Lectured:

Programming Languages: C#, Java, Python
-
Web Development: HTML, CSS
Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate lectures, seminars, and tutorials.

Prepare and update lecture notes and learning resources.
-
Design, set, and mark assessments and examinations.

Perform general academic administration duties.

Ensure academic quality assurance in teaching and assessment.

Monitor and provide support to at-risk students.

Engage in departmental development and curriculum improvement.
