Job Purpose:
To provide in-house legal expertise in corporate and commercial law. The successful candidate will support business operations by drafting and reviewing contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, advising on legal risks, and guiding internal stakeholders on legal matters, both locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:

Draft, vet, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and corporate agreements.

Provide expert legal advice on corporate law, regulatory compliance, tax, and risk management.

Conduct legal research, prepare legal opinions, and liaise with external counsel when necessary.

Advise management and the Board of Directors on legal strategy, governance, and policy issues.

Ensure all business activities are conducted in full legal and commercial compliance, including international operations.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:

LLB Degree (Bachelor of Laws)

Admitted Attorney (must be registered with the relevant Legal Practice Council)
Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ post-admission experience in corporate, commercial, or litigation law

Strong exposure to contract drafting, legal advisory, and regulatory frameworks
