     Job Description

    As an Instrumentation & Control Technician, you will work on advanced control systems (digital & analog), ensuring equipment runs efficiently with minimal variability. You’ll troubleshoot issues, upgrade systems, and contribute to continuous improvement in plant operations.

     Key Responsibilities

     Maintenance & Troubleshooting

    • Perform routine maintenance on instrumentation and control systems
    • Diagnose and fix faults in control systems
    • Repair and modify equipment to improve performance

     Installation & Upgrades

    • Install new instrumentation and control systems
    • Upgrade outdated systems and equipment
    • Adjust and test systems to meet performance standards

     Monitoring & Analysis

    • Use Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to monitor performance
    • Analyse data, trends, and system performance
    • Generate technical reports for project teams

     Engineering & Continuous Improvement

    • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
    • Recommend improvements to prevent failures
    • Apply predictive maintenance techniques

     Safety & Compliance

    • Follow engineering standards and regulations
    • Investigate and report incidents
    • Ensure compliance with condition monitoring programs

     Minimum Requirements

    • Diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, or related)
    • Minimum 7 years relevant experience

     Key Competencies

    • Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control systems
    • Experience with DCS systems
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to interpret technical data and trends
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Good communication and reporting skills

     Ideal Candidate
