     Job Description

    As a Principal Analyst, you will perform routine laboratory tests using established procedures and customer-supplied methods. You will analyse product samples, maintain lab equipment, and ensure safety and quality standards are strictly followed.

     Key Responsibilities

     Laboratory Testing

    • Conduct routine tests on product samples following established procedures
    • Prepare samples, reagents, and lab instruments for analysis
    • Record and report results accurately in LIMS or lab logbooks

     Equipment & Process Management

    • Operate, maintain, and clean laboratory instruments
    • Monitor for equipment malfunctions and report them promptly
    • Ensure lab work complies with ISO/IEC 17025 standards

     Safety & Compliance

    • Follow all laboratory health, safety, and environmental regulations
    • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laboratory
    • Report abnormal results or safety concerns immediately

     Support Tasks

    • Assist with sample collection, labelling, and storage
    • Contribute to maintaining quality assurance processes in the lab

     Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12 with Mathematics or N3 Technical Mathematics
    • Physical Science knowledge is advantageous
    • National Diploma in Chemistry or related field is preferred
