Job Description
Clicks Group is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Wellness Assistant to join its Kroonstad store.
The successful candidate will provide customers with knowledgeable service and basic advice on healthcare, nutrition and supplementation products. The role focuses on delivering an excellent customer experience, driving healthcare sales and maintaining strong product knowledge while ensuring high standards of stock management and store presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service through visibility and proactive engagement.
- Assist customers with healthcare, nutritional and supplement-related product advice.
- Drive healthcare sales in line with set targets.
- Promote a broad range of brands through cross-selling and up-selling.
- Maintain stock availability in healthcare aisles.
- Follow stock management procedures and principles.
- Prevent wastage through proper stock rotation.
- Minimise stock losses by following risk-management policies.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Assist with product merchandising in line with Clicks guidelines.
- Follow all store standard operating procedures.
- Continuously develop product knowledge and share information with relief staff.
- Build positive customer relationships and contribute to customer loyalty.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Matric.
- Minimum 50% in Pure Mathematics or 50% in Mathematical Literacy.
- Minimum 50% in English.
- Pass in Life Sciences or Physical Sciences.
- A qualification in Sports, Fitness or Nutrition would be advantageous.
Experience
- At least one year’s relevant experience.
- Experience working with sports nutrition and vitamin-related products.
- Selling experience and customer-related training.
Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of health, fitness and supplements.
- Basic understanding of retail store operations.
- Knowledge of stock management, merchandising and risk-management principles.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Basic computer literacy would be advantageous.
