Job Overview
Clicks Group is looking for a Shop Assistant / Cashier to join the team at Clicks Universitas in Bloemfontein.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, efficiently handling point-of-sale activities, processing payments, promoting Clicks ClubCard, assisting customers with promotions and maintaining high merchandising and housekeeping standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Scan merchandise and collect payments.
- Process Clicks ClubCard rewards and promote ClubCard membership.
- Handle cash safely and responsibly.
- Inform customers about promotions and special offers.
- Deliver friendly, professional and excellent customer service.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the Clicks brand.
- Maintain merchandising and visual standards.
- Perform general housekeeping duties.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, ranges, promotions and events.
- Support Clicks’ goal of being the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer.
Minimum Requirements
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
Desirable:
- Mathematics at 50% and English at 50% at Grade 12 level.
- N6 Business Management.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role within a retail/FMCG environment.
Skills & Knowledge
