Job Overview
Clicks Group is looking for a Shop Assistant / Cashier to join the team at Clicks Northridge Mall in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will report to the Store Manager and will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, operating the point-of-sale system, handling cash accurately, promoting Clicks ClubCard and assisting with merchandising and store housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately at the point of sale.
- Scan merchandise and collect payments, including processing ClubCard rewards.
- Handle cash safely and responsibly.
- Promote Clicks ClubCard and assist with enrolling new members.
- Inform customers about current promotions and special offers.
- Provide friendly, professional and customer-focused service.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the Clicks brand.
- Maintain merchandising standards and general store housekeeping.
- Develop product knowledge and provide customers with accurate product information.
- Stay informed about products, promotions, ranges and store events.
- Support the store in achieving excellent customer service and sales objectives.
Minimum Requirements
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
Advantageous:
- Mathematics at 50% or higher at Grade 12 level.
- English at 50% or higher at Grade 12 level.
- Relevant Retail or Business Management qualification.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or FMCG environment.
Skills & Competencies
