Job Overview
Clicks Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join its Kroonstad pharmacy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the dispensary and clinic, ensuring excellent patient care, regulatory compliance, efficient operations and strong financial performance.
The role is ideal for a registered pharmacist with strong leadership and people-management skills who can drive service excellence while ensuring compliance with South African Pharmacy Council requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high standards of pharmaceutical care and safe, accurate dispensing.
- Provide professional advice and counselling to patients.
- Manage dispensary operations, stock control, shrinkage and administration.
- Ensure compliance with SAPC regulations, legislation and company standards.
- Manage the financial performance of the dispensary and clinic.
- Lead, motivate, coach and develop pharmacy employees, learners and interns.
- Schedule staff appropriately and ensure accurate attendance and HR records.
- Drive customer service initiatives and customer loyalty.
- Promote integration between the pharmacy, clinic and healthcare departments.
- Drive a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction and business results.

Minimum Requirements
- Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience after completing community service.
- At least 1 year of people-management experience.
- Registered with SAPC as the Responsible Pharmacist.
- Retail pharmacy experience is advantageous.
- Unisolv experience is advantageous.
