Job Overview
Clicks Fichardt Park is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to ensure the efficient operation of the dispensary and deliver high standards of pharmaceutical care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safe and accurate dispensing, patient counselling, stock management, compliance, customer service and the achievement of dispensary and clinic targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care and professional patient counselling.
- Dispense medication accurately and safely.
- Perform generic substitution where applicable.
- Provide pharmaceutical advice in line with SAPC regulations and legal requirements.
- Manage dispensary operations, including stock control, shrinkage, housekeeping and administration.
- Ensure compliance with SAPC regulations and company standards.
- Drive dispensary and clinic targets to ensure operational viability.
- Oversee the training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns when required.
- Drive customer service initiatives and customer loyalty.
- Promote ClubCard participation.
- Build and maintain relationships with centre managers, suppliers and distribution centres.
- Work closely with the clinic and healthcare aisle to provide customers with a complete healthcare offering.
- Support the Clicks Group vision and values.
Minimum Requirements
- Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
Advantageous Experience
- Retail pharmacy experience.
- Experience with Unisolve.
