    Job Purpose:

    To manage and coordinate daily operations within a warehouse environment, ensuring efficient inventory control, staff supervision, safety compliance, and timely dispatch of goods. This role plays a critical part in supporting supply chain continuity, particularly within pharmaceutical or retail warehouse settings.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities: receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching

    • Maintain inventory accuracy through stock counts and system updates

    • Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical or retail products

    • Enforce health, safety, and housekeeping standards

    • Monitor and manage staff performance, attendance, and productivity

    • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics to ensure stock availability and timely deliveries

    • Report on warehouse KPIs such as turnaround times, stock accuracy, and damage control

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency

    • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, policies, and regulatory standards

    Minimum Requirements:

    Education:

    • Grade 12 (Matric) – essential

    • Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Managementadvantageous

    Experience:

    • 3–5 years’ supervisory experience in a retail or pharmaceutical warehouse environment

    Skills Required:

    • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations

    • Effective leadership and team supervision skills

    • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and preferably ERP/WMS systems

    • Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines

    • Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards
