Introduction:
Bidvest Prestige, Southern Africa’s leading provider of world-class outsourced solutions, is seeking a Training Officer in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, developing, and transferring technical skills in operations to ensure high-quality performance and sustainable workforce competence. This role plays a key part in aligning training initiatives with organisational objectives and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage operational training and development of staff

Assess training needs of employees across the region and sector

Align training initiatives with organisational goals

Develop and manage training budgets
-
Design, implement, and update training programs
-
Administer specialised training (e.g., healthcare-specific needs)
-
Review and select training material from relevant vendors
-
Facilitate training for supervisors and instructors
-
Evaluate effectiveness of training programs and facilitators
-
Manage the Regional and National Transformation Forum
-
Submit and manage WSP/ATR reporting
-
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (e.g., OHS Act, ISO 9001)
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
-
Matric / Senior Certificate
-
Formal qualification in HR Management
-
Facilitator and Assessor Certification (essential)

Valid South African Driver’s Licence
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Cleaning/Hygiene industry

Basic HR knowledge and experience
-
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project & Outlook (Intermediate level)

Understanding of OHS Act, ISO 9001, and Risk Management Systems

Remuneration:
