    Introduction:

    Bidvest Prestige, Southern Africa’s leading provider of world-class outsourced solutions, is seeking a Training Officer in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, developing, and transferring technical skills in operations to ensure high-quality performance and sustainable workforce competence. This role plays a key part in aligning training initiatives with organisational objectives and compliance frameworks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage operational training and development of staff

    • Assess training needs of employees across the region and sector

    • Align training initiatives with organisational goals

    • Develop and manage training budgets

    • Design, implement, and update training programs

    • Administer specialised training (e.g., healthcare-specific needs)

    • Review and select training material from relevant vendors

    • Facilitate training for supervisors and instructors

    • Evaluate effectiveness of training programs and facilitators

    • Manage the Regional and National Transformation Forum

    • Submit and manage WSP/ATR reporting

    • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (e.g., OHS Act, ISO 9001)

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

    • Matric / Senior Certificate

    • Formal qualification in HR Management

    • Facilitator and Assessor Certification (essential)

    • Valid South African Driver’s Licence

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Cleaning/Hygiene industry

    • Basic HR knowledge and experience

    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project & Outlook (Intermediate level)

    • Understanding of OHS Act, ISO 9001, and Risk Management Systems

    Remuneration:
