Introduction:
Alert Afinta, a division of Motus Aftermarket Parts, is seeking to employ a Motorbike Driver in Welkom. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of automotive parts and documents, ensuring all customer service standards and company delivery procedures are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-trip and return vehicle inspections; report any issues before departure
Submit signed inspection checklists weekly to the Dispatch Supervisor
Assist with parcel checks before loading, adhering to dispatch loading procedures
Deliver parcels as per designated routes and trip sheets
Ensure customers follow the correct Proof of Delivery (POD) procedure
Handle all delivery documents and return signed PODs to the POD clerk
Ensure all trip sheets are signed off and returned the next day; responsible for outstanding documents
Maintain and clean the vehicle daily; report faults or damages immediately
No transferring of stock between customer locations
Provide professional customer service during deliveries
Execute any other reasonable duties assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Grade 12 / Matric (preferred)
Valid Motorcycle Licence
Previous delivery or motorbike driving experience (advantageous)
