Job Description
The HR Systems Administrator will be responsible for HR administration, payroll support, attendance systems, employee records, and HR systems management within the Grain Field Chickens Abattoir.
The role requires strong HR systems knowledge, payroll administration skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent.
- HR-related qualification (required).
- Minimum of 2 years’ HR Administration or Payroll experience.
- Working knowledge of:
- Biometric clocking systems
- Time and attendance systems
- Timesheets
- Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of:
- BCEA
- LRA
- SDA
- HR good practices
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required.
Advantageous Requirements
- Formal Microsoft Training Certificate.
- Experience with:
- ESS
- Sage People / Sage 300 People
- File Director
- MIE Verifications
- SharePoint
- PRP Biometric System
- Ability to speak vernacular languages commonly spoken in the Eastern Free State.
Main Responsibilities
HR Administration
- Provide HR administrative support to all departments.
- Handle HR and payroll-related queries.
- Assist with HR projects, learnerships, and skills development.
Payroll and Attendance Systems
- Monitor daily headcount and attendance records.
- Process:
- Leave applications
- Claims
- Pay queries
- Overtime approvals
- Maintain employee timesheets and attendance systems.
- Load and update employee information on Sage 300 People.
Documentation and Reporting
- Scan and upload payroll documents to:
- SharePoint
- File Director
- Compile reports such as:
- Pay query reports
- IR reports
- Maintain compliance with HR documentation standards.
Employee Support
- Assist employees with:
- Staff accounts
- Personal loans
- Exit documentation
- Payroll changes
- Support manufacturing teams with HR-related information.
Industrial Relations Support
- Provide IR support where necessary.
- Assist with employee absence monitoring and disciplinary follow-ups.
