Job Overview
Power Fashion, part of Mr Price Group Limited, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Supervisor to support the store management team with daily store operations.
The successful candidate will help drive sales, improve customer service, manage stock, supervise employees and ensure that store targets and operational standards are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales and Customer Experience Management
Drive sales and ensure excellent customer service.
Implement promotions, markdowns, repricing and visual merchandising standards.
Monitor customer feedback and improve the overall shopping experience.
Help achieve sales and new customer account or membership targets.
2. Team Management
Assist in leading and motivating the store team.
Drive team performance to achieve store KPIs.
Coach and mentor employees to improve their skills and product knowledge.
Ensure employees work according to company values and operational standards.
3. Stock Management
Ensure stock is accurately received, unpacked and displayed.
Monitor stock levels and ensure shelves are replenished.
Conduct stock counts and stocktakes.
Implement measures to prevent stock losses.
Maintain stockroom cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
4. Risk and Compliance Management
Conduct store administration and compliance checks.
Assist with store, visual and operational audits.
Monitor point-of-sale reports and security procedures.
Ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
Monitor weekly hanger counts and compliance requirements.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants must have:
Grade 12 (Matric).
1–2 years’ retail experience.
Previous experience in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of sales and service management.
Computer literacy.
Good communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail trade.
Understanding of brands, customers and products.
