    Job Purpose

    To manage and lead the store effectively by driving sales performance, managing staff, controlling stock and expenses, and delivering excellent customer service while maintaining company standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Drive sales turnover and achieve store targets
    • Control store expenses and profitability
    • Manage stock losses and shrinkage
    • Recruit, train, develop, and manage employees
    • Handle employee relations and performance management
    • Implement merchandising strategies and maintain store standards
    • Deliver high levels of customer service
    • Lead and motivate the store team
    • Improve conversion rates and category growth
    • Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations

    Minimum Requirements

    Qualification

    • Matric / Grade 12 certificate

    Experience

    • 3–5 years’ retail store management experience
    • Experience managing:
      • A store with annual turnover exceeding R10 million
      • At least 6 direct reports
    • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment
