    JOB OVERVIEW

    The Store Manager role at PEP is responsible for leading a store team to achieve business performance targets (KPIs), including sales growth, cost control, stock management, customer service excellence, and maintaining high store standards.

    The role requires strong leadership in a fast-paced retail environment with a strong focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Sales & Customer Experience

    • Drive sales growth through excellent customer service
    • Maintain world-class store standards and brand image
    • Implement promotions and merchandising strategies effectively

    2. Stock & Loss Control

    • Minimise stock loss through strict security and stock handling procedures
    • Manage stock levels, stock movement, and inventory accuracy
    • Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures

    3. Cost & Operational Management

    • Drive low-cost operational efficiency
    • Manage store expenses in line with company guidelines
    • Ensure smooth daily store operations

    4. Team Leadership

    • Lead, coach, and develop store staff (“Dynamos”)
    • Manage performance, training, and team motivation
    • Build a strong and disciplined store culture

    5. Administration & Compliance

    • Ensure all store administrative duties are completed accurately and on time
    • Maintain health, safety, and housekeeping standards
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12 (Matric)
    • Proficient in English
    • Retail-related diploma or degree (advantageous)
    • 1–2 years leadership experience in retail (preferred)
    • Computer literacy (MS Office / Google GSuite advantageous)
