    Job Purpose:

    To lead a dynamic retail store team in achieving business KPIs through excellent customer service, stock and risk management, efficient store operations, and maintaining world-class store standards. This role also involves training and coaching staff while promoting a high-performance culture aligned to PEP’s values and low-cost philosophy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive sales growth through excellent customer service and store presentation

    • Manage store image, stock levels, and promotion implementation

    • Minimise stock loss through effective store controls, security, and team culture

    • Control costs by improving store efficiencies and adhering to PEP’s low-cost culture

    • Ensure accurate and timely administration in line with company policies

    • Lead, train, and coach a team of Dynamos to ensure strong performance and development

    • Maintain high standards in health, safety, and store housekeeping

    Minimum Requirements:

    Education:

    • Grade 12 (Matric) – Essential

    • Tertiary qualification (Diploma/Degree) in Retail, Business, or related fields – Advantageous

    Experience:

    • 1–2 years’ experience in a retail environment in a leadership role – Preferred

    Technical Skills:

    • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite – Advantageous)

    • Strong understanding of retail operations and customer service excellence

    Key Attributes & Competencies:

    • Passion for retail and customer service

    • High level of integrity and willingness to go the extra mile

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills

    • Strong planning, organising, leading, and control abilities

    • Resilient under pressure in a fast-paced environment

    • Willingness to work retail hours
