This role is ideal for a software developer with experience in retail systems, POS technology, and inventory/operations coding. You’ll build and maintain applications that keep retail environments running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain code for:
   POS systems
   Inventory management
   Pricing engines
   Reporting tools

• Translate retail business requirements into functional system logic.

• Test, debug, and troubleshoot software issues.

• Optimize and refactor code for better performance and reliability.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all code and system workflows.

• Comply with company security and coding standards.

• Provide technical support to retail staff and system users.

• Keep up with new retail technologies and coding trends.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• Degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.

• 3+ years coding/software development experience (ideally in retail).

• Proficiency in languages such as:
   Java
   C#
   Python
   SQL
   Retail-specific scripting languages

• Experience with retail technologies/platforms such as:
   POS systems
   Retail management systems
   E-commerce platforms
