Role Overview:
NCRS (Pty) Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Site HR / IR Manager to lead the full human resources function on site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving strategic HR initiatives, managing the HR department, and fostering a productive and legally compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership & Department Management

Align HR strategy with company objectives.

Lead, mentor, and manage the HR team.

Foster a high-performance and collaborative HR culture.
HR & Policy Strategy

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

Oversee policy communication, training, and compliance.
Industrial Relations (IR)
-
Handle conflict resolution, investigations, and grievances.
-
Guide complex employee relations matters.

Maintain a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Employee Engagement
-
Lead engagement and satisfaction initiatives.

Coordinate team-building events and morale boosters.
Performance & Talent Management
-
Drive goal-setting, appraisals, and improvement plans.

Manage bonus structures, contract updates, and succession planning.
Learning & Development
-
Identify training needs and develop tailored programs.

Support leadership growth and coaching initiatives.
Talent Acquisition & Retention

Partner with recruitment for hiring strategy.

Implement employee retention strategies.
HR Reporting & Analytics

Track KPIs: turnover, engagement, etc.

Use data to guide continuous HR improvement.
Requirements:

Degree in Human Resources, Business Admin, or related.

10+ years HR management experience (including leadership roles).

Industry Experience Preferred: Mining, Manufacturing, Construction, or Engineering.

Experience in PV Solar and/or BESS (Battery Storage) environments is advantageous.

Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influencing abilities.
