Job Overview:
RPO Recruitment is hiring an experienced and dynamic Shop Manager to lead store operations for a client’s retail outlet in Bloemfontein. This role is ideal for a motivated leader with a strong focus on customer service, sales, and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily store operations.
Lead and motivate staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent service.
Oversee stock control, inventory, and replenishment.
Maintain visual merchandising and store layout to brand standards.
Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
Prepare regular sales reports and monitor store performance.
Manage cash handling and banking processes.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12) required.
Tertiary qualification in Retail Management or Business Administration is advantageous.
Proven experience as a Shop Manager or similar retail leadership role.
Strong knowledge of merchandising, sales, and customer service.
Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Passionate about staff development and customer engagement.
