     Job Overview:

    Hire Resolve is seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer with expertise in contracting and water infrastructure projects. The role focuses on water demand management, water conservation, and Non-Revenue Water (NRW) initiatives, including the technical and administrative management of large-scale construction works.

     Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage large water infrastructure construction projects.

    • Oversee network zone management:

      • Reinforced concrete chambers

      • Bulk water meters

      • Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs)

      • Related infrastructure

    • Provide expert input into water demand and conservation strategies.

    • Conduct feasibility studies, draft technical reports, and compile project proposals.

    • Handle contract documentation and administration in line with SAICE, GCC, and FIDIC standards.

    • Ensure project delivery within timelines, budgets, and quality/compliance standards.

    • Work with multidisciplinary teams, providing leadership and technical guidance.

    • Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D for project design and implementation.

     Minimum Requirements:

    Education:

    • B.Sc / B.Eng in Civil Engineering

    Licensing & Legal:

    • Valid SA Driver’s License

    • South African citizen or valid work permit

    • ECSA professional registration is advantageous (not compulsory)

    Experience:

    • 5+ years in civil engineering (preferably with contracting and water sector experience)

    • Experience in water demand management, Non-Revenue Water, and water conservation projects

    • Proficiency in:

      • Microsoft Office

      • AutoCAD & Civil 3D

      • WADISO (advantageous)

    Contract Administration Knowledge:

    • SAICE, GCC, and FIDIC standards

    Soft Skills:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to work independently and within a team

    • Strong client-facing and relationship-building ability

     Remuneration:
