    Job Title: OUTsurance Broker (Tied Agent)

    • Department: Business Insurance – Commercial Division
    • Location: Field-based, reports to Broker Regional Manager

    Role Overview

    You will be responsible for growing a book of short-term insurance business, covering both personal and commercial lines, through face-to-face sales. The role involves prospecting, canvassing, lead generation, and relationship building.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Sell Personal and Commercial Insurance products

    • Build and manage a client base through cold calling and referrals

    • Meet sales targets and service level expectations

    • Act as a brand ambassador for OUTsurance in your region

    Requirements

    Education & Qualifications

    • Matric / National Senior Certificate (compulsory)

    Logistics

    • Own reliable vehicle

    • Valid Code B driver’s licence

    • Willingness to travel locally for sales meetings

    Experience

    • 3+ years external face-to-face sales experience (essential)

    • Strong skills in:

      • Cold calling

      • Lead generation

      • Prospecting

      • Door-to-door sales

      • Relationship management

    FAIS Compliance (if applicable)

    If you’ve worked as a FAIS Representative:

    • Full FAIS credits / Insurance Qualification (per DOFA)

    • RE5 Certificate (per DOFA)
