Introduction
An exciting opportunity is available for two (2) unemployed graduates to join Clinvet International in Bloemfontein for a HWSETA-funded Research Internship. The program is aimed at developing research skills within the animal health and scientific research sector and runs for a 12-month period.
Purpose of the Role
To assist in the delivery of high-quality, efficient research activities at Clinvet, through hands-on work with animals, data collection, and study-specific responsibilities within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the execution of efficient and high-quality research projects.

Conduct study-specific scientific and technical tasks.

Perform administrative functions related to research studies.

Handle, interact with, and socialise animals in line with study requirements.

Execute tasks in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and adhere to project timelines.
Minimum Requirements

A degree in Natural Science or Biological Science, with major subjects in Entomology, Zoology, or Parasitology.

Must be currently unemployed.

Must have graduated between 2022 – 2025.

Must be available in Bloemfontein for interviews and onboarding processes.
Skills and Competencies

Computer literate.

Proficiency in written and verbal English.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Attention to detail and good administrative ability.

Valid Driver’s License.
